Two months of construction on the California-Keystone Avenue intersection will mostly be complete on Friday. The intersection will reopen to traffic at 7 a.m.

The area has been closed to traffic for road construction since mid-June.

“These are significant, much-needed improvements the community identified in our Keystone Corridor Plan that will enhance the surrounding neighborhood,” said RTC Executive Director Lee Gibson. “These improvements provide better access, mobility, and safety for all users.”

The $2.5 million project was designed to improve traffic safety, increase pedestrian and bike access, and comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act.
