The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC), the world's premier geothermal association, reminds attendees that Early Bird registration for its upcoming Annual Meeting will expire at midnight on August 31. The GRC Opening Session will feature top-ranking government officials and industry representatives, who will put current geothermal events into perspective. Speakers will include Dr. Jim Combs – Chief Scientist, Gradient Resources; Bob Cashel – Mayor of Reno; Lucien Bronicki – Chairman of the Board, Ormat; Doug Hollett – U.S. Department of Energy; Greg Raasch – Executive Vice President and Co-Founder, GeoGlobal Energy LLC; Craig Mataczynski – CEO, Gradient Resources; Isikeli Taureka – Sr. Vice President Chevron Geothermal and Power Operations; Gerardo Hiriart – CEO, ENAL (Mexico); Richard Campbell – GRC President; and Paul Thomsen – GEA President.
