Bully’s supports “Here’s to Heroes” with 2012 Wolf Pack Cannon-shot Giveaway

Bully’s accepting entries through October 31 for six cannon-shot winners

Once again, Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill gives away the opportunity of a lifetime when it awards six lucky Wolf Pack fans a chance to shoot the cannon announcing the start of the game after the National Anthem during the 2012 season’s home games. But unlike past years, Bully’s is serving up the chance exclusively to those who have served our country in support of Budweiser’s “Here’s to the Heroes” campaign. From now through Oct. 31, active duty, honorably discharged, retired military or family of deceased military members are encouraged to share the reasons why he or she would like to kick off a home game with the famed cannon shot on Bully’s Facebook page.

“Bully’s decided to take the cannon-shot giveaway in a new direction after hearing some of the impactful, emotional stories we received during other contests we’ve hosted throughout the year,” explained Bully’s Owner Jo Sonner. “And when Morrey Distribution came to us with this idea as part of the Here’s to the Heroes campaign we couldn’t think of a more perfect match. The giveaways were initially designed as a customer appreciation program and what better way to thank those customers of ours who have served this country than to give them a chance to be part of their favorite college football team.”

Entries are being accepted now on the Bully’s Facebook page, at www.facebook.com/BullysSportsBar with the first winners announced in time for the September and October home games. Winners receive two tickets to the game, sideline access to shoot the cannon prior to kickoff and a commemorative photo. Entries are accepted through Wednesday, Oct. 31. Home games take place Sept. 8 against the University of South Florida; Sept. 15 against Northwestern State; Oct. 6 versus Wyoming; Oct. 20 against San Diego State; Nov. 10 versus Fresno State; and Dec. 1 against Boise State.
