Holiday Tuba Concert Set for Saturday at May Museum

Immerse yourself in the sounds of the season at the Wilbur D. May Museum’s annual Tuba Christmas Concert. The free, family friendly event has holiday carols arranged in four-part harmony and performed by local tuba, baritone, and euphonium players.

The museum will have holiday decorations on display and offers free admission the entire day. Hot cocoa, cider, and cookies will be available for purchase. There are more than 250 tuba Christmas performances scheduled this year around the world, but this is the only event in Northern Nevada.

All area tuba, baritone, and euphonium players are invited to participate in the Tuba Christmas Concert. Musician registration begins at 12:30 p.m. and musician rehearsal begins at 1 p.m. The participant registration fee is $10.00.
