Tour de Nez and Renown Health are partnering with the Reno Riverwalk District and Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful to clean up part of the Tour de Nez course along downtown Reno’s beloved Riverwalk. The goal is to recover and maintain the Riverwalk back to its original condition.
The clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, March 18 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Volunteers will gather at Hub Coffee Roasters, 727 Riverside Dr., to fuel up before getting started.
Organizers of Tour de Nez are thrilled that the race course is returning to its original location, given how important this path is to the community.
“We want to give back to our community by donating some of our time to help clean up and maintain the Riverwalk path,” said Bubba Melcher, Executive Director of Tour de Nez. “This event will ensure that the path will be in great condition so that all can enjoy the Tour de Nez race.”
