White Sage is introducing a new kind of skin care to Reno. On Thursday, March 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. they will be having their Grand Opening Party with a percentage of the proceeds going back to The Holland Project.

“The name White Sage is inspired by the high desert sagebrush native to Nevada and the fact that sage is honored worldwide for its healing and cleansing qualities,” said Greer Kukuk owner. “My aesthetics journey began in 2009 in Portland, Oregon, where I attended a holistic school for skincare. I’m so excited to now be bringing this unique approach to the Reno community.”

The Grand Opening Event will feature demos of the sugaring process, which is a natural alternative to waxing, along with a hair demo from neighbors at Midtown Curls. The event will also have a specially curated pop-up rack of the latest fashions from Sierra Belle Boutique. Lastly, there will be wine and a cheese spread from Wedge, along with healthy organic desserts provided by BFF Organic Cafe.

“The first 25 guests will receive free sample packs of our unique skincare line. All event-goers will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win some of our amazing services,” said Kukuk.

If you book a service the night of the event 20 percent will be donated back to the The Holland Project, a local non-profit arts and music initiative that aims to create art access, music access, diverse workshop opportunities and community involvement and collaboration in Reno.

“It is my goal to provide my clients with a comfortable environment and services rooted in attention to detail, holistic practices and natural products to offer an experience that leaves you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and well taken care of, said Kukuk.“We’ve created an all-natural studio for facials, skincare and sugaring services and we can’t wait to share it with Reno at our opening event!”
