Over $12,000 in grants awarded by the Junior League of Reno

Last week, the Junior League of Reno announced recipients of their 2016 Community Enrichment Partnership Fund grants, totaling $12,560.00.

Northern Nevada Organizations that received the grant include the Women and Children’s Center of the Sierra, Reno Philharmonic, Tru-Vista, Camp Care Nevada, Urban Roots, and The Eddy House.

Each recipient supports various community programs right here in Northern Nevada. The Junior League of Reno’s Community Enrichment Partnership Fund was established to help further these local organization’s missions, especially those affecting women and children.

Local nonprofits receive $2.9 million in Community Recovery Grants

Six Reno-based organizations this week were awarded nearly $2.9 million in the final round of Community Recovery Grants distributed by the state using American Rescue Plan Act dollars.
