$25,000 at Stake in Small Business Competition

The Level Up – The Growth Competition for small businesses is accepting entries.

Qualified companies may enter to win part of a prize package valued at more than $25,000.

Level Up is a growth competition where six finalists will be recognized at an awards show on May 20, 2016 at Nightingale Hall on the University of Nevada, Reno campus.

The competition seeks to designate itself as a business growth competition for existing firms. The theme this year is “celebrate entrepreneurship.”

Six finalists will be decided by a group of four panelists from the entrepreneurial community:

  • Ashley Jennings, founder of Parlor Shows and Girl Made
  • Nate Pearson, CEO of Trainer Road
  • Dr. Todd Sala, partner of Sala Family Dentistry
  • Tanya McCaffery, CEO of VAST powered by The CFO Group.

The evening will also feature a keynote presentation by international speaker, Mary Morrissey.

The application period is through March 15, 2016.

All finalists will receive professional video production to use in their company’s marketing efforts as well as an opportunity to win a People’s Choice Award.

First through third-place winners will receive prize packages including cash prizes, services and business products.
