Serial Tagger Faces Felony Charge After Being Arrested

reno_police_rpd-4922617-7378979The Reno Police Department has arrested what it is calling a “prolific” graffiti tagger. Gustavo Lopez-Nunez is facing a felony charge for more than 170 separate tagging incidences in Midtown and downtown.

“This vandalism caused over $10,000 worth of damage to different residences and businesses within our community,” said RPD in a press statement. “The suspect would tag walls, fences, street signs and freeway overpasses.”

Lopez-Nunez was arrested after a lengthy investigation by RPD’s Graffiti Enforcement Team.
