Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Several RTC corrective maintenance projects are underway in Sparks that will help to improve safety and pavement conditions. Traffic controls will be in place and drivers are encouraged to take short delays into account when driving.

Sparks Boulevard

The northbound stretch of Sparks Boulevard, just north of Prater Way, will be reduced to one lane, so a new barrier rail can be installed. Work will take place between Monday, June 29th and Wednesday, July 1st. The speed limit in the project area will be reduced to 25 miles per hour.

Rock Boulevard/Victorian Avenue

The Victorian Avenue section of Rock Boulevard will be closed so a water main can be installed on Saturday June 27th between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m. A detour will be in place during this time. Lane reductions will be in place on Victorian Avenue between June 29th and July 2nd from Rock Boulevard to 16th Street.

Silverada Boulevard

Pavement will be rehabilitated to smooth surfaces and create safer conditions. Work will take place between Oddie Boulevard and 9th Street and traffic will be reduced to one lane in the northbound direction between June 30th and July 2nd.
