Now in it’s third year, School Upgrade will award three more schools with $10,000 each. School principals can submit their entries to Dolan Auto Group’s Facebook page until March 5. Deliberations last from March 10 through March 23.

Principals are encouraged to work with their students and faculty to determine how the funds could best help their school. Entries are limited to one entry per school and all entries must be submitted by the school’s principal. Schools will be divided into three categories: Elementary, Middle and High School. One school from each category will win $10,000 to fund their proposed school upgrade.

“Providing students with sufficient facilities is essential to their learning experience as a whole,” Ryan Dolan, CEO of Dolan Auto Group, said. “We understand that times are difficult for our local schools and try to do everything we can to show our support for education.”

Entrants must be an employed public school principal in one of the following counties: Carson City, Churchill, Douglas, Humbolt, Lyon, Mineral, Pershing, Storey and Washoe at the time of entry. Publicly-funded elementary or secondary charter schools are eligible. In order to reach as many schools as possible, previous School Upgrade winners are not eligible.
