SAINT MARY’S MEDIA STATEMENT
11:19 a.m. – Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center has provided the following update related to the officer-involved shooting on Sunday, Oct. 20.
Our first priority in this matter was to ensure all patients, visitors and staff remained in a safe environment. We can confirm there were no negative effects to any of our staff, patients or visitors.
In regard to the persons directly impacted from the shooting, we can confirm two patients were originally treated at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center with the following outcomes.
- 1 (one) patient was in stable condition and has been transferred to another local agency
- 1 (one) patient has been treated and released
