reno-logo-3514923-8909634Furthering their commitment to enhancing our city’s quality of life by listening and engaging residents and neighborhoods, Reno City Council members will be hosting town hall meetings during October.

These informal meetings are a great opportunity for residents to ask questions and learn about projects in their ward, neighborhood and city. The open forum will allow for discussions on a variety of topics.

Community feedback, ideas and input are crucial as we look to inspire a culture of innovation and create a smarter, more efficient city and a better city to work and live in. We want to hear from you!

Below is a list of the upcoming Reno City Council town hall meetings:

Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 6 p.m.
Council Member Dwight Dortch (Ward 4)
Evelyn Mount NE Community Center, 1301 Valley Road

Monday, Oct. 7, at 5 p.m.
Council Member Jenny Brekhus (Ward 1)
Atria Summit Ridge Senior Living, 4880 Summit Ridge Dr.

Saturday, Oct. 12, at 10 a.m.
Council Member Oscar Delgado (Ward 3)
Teglia’s Paradise Park Community Center, 4950 Elementary Dr.

Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m.
Council Member Neoma Jardon (Ward 5)
Evelyn Mount NE Community Center, 1301 Valley Road

Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 6 p.m.
Council Member Sharon Zadra (Ward 2)
Huffaker Elementary School, 980 Wheatland Road

Residents who are unable to attend a meeting are encouraged to visit Reno’s online citizen engagement tool at Reno.gov/ThinkReno. The online tool is convenient and always residents to interact with fellow residents and city staff, submit ideas, start light-hearted community discussions, highlight specific neighborhood issues and better connect with the community.
