Experience an entertaining look back at the good, the bad and the ugly in film, fashion and music from the 1950’s through today and help support the Special Olympics. This unique Variety Show entitled “Film, Fashion and Music through the Decades” is presented by students of Take2 Performers Studio and will include live music, a vintage fashion show, popular songs, dances, and personalities from each decade. A silent auction, light appetizers, scrumptious desserts, and a no host bar will also be included in this star-studded event. In addition, guests are invited to dress in their favorite vintage attire or favorite star from the past to have a chance to win a table at next year’s event!
This is the 4th year Take2 Performers Studio has held this event to support The Special Olympics, an organization which provides year-round sports training and competition for nearly 4,000 Special Olympic athletes in Nevada ages eight years and older with developmental disabilities. “I have a huge place in my heart for programs that help people with special needs” says Justine Reyes, owner of Take2 Performers Studio whose son was diagnosed with Down Syndrome at birth. “This wonderful organization has helped kids like my son lead healthier happier lives so I am thrilled to help support them!”
“Film, Fashion and Music through the Decades” will be held at the Atlantis Casino Resort in Reno on August 25, 2013. Doors open at 6:00pm. Tickets are $35 per person or $350 for a table of ten.
