The University of Nevada, Reno’s spring Commencement will confer 2,168 degrees and certificates. There will be three ceremonies, one for advanced-degree recipients on Friday afternoon, May 17, and two for bachelor-degree recipients on the mornings of Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18. All three ceremonies will be held on the University’s historic Quadrangle, located on the southern part of campus.
- Multicultural graduation celebrations include the Latino Graduation Celebration at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10, the Lavender Graduation Celebration honoring LGBTIQ students, at 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 14 in the Great Room of the Joe Crowley Student Union, the Fourth Annual Asian and Pacific Islander Graduation Celebration at 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 15 in the Joe Crowley Student Union, and the Black Graduate Celebration at 5 p.m., Thursday, May 16.
- Honor the Best recognizes top students, faculty and staff, and this year’s event will include the dedication of the Milt Glick Ballroom in the Joe Crowley Student Union.
