WASHOE COUNTY NEWS RELEASE

Most Washoe County Library locations will be open at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30, due to a staff development day.

There are three exceptions: the Senior Center Library and Verdi Community Library will be closed the entire day, and the Duncan-Traner Library will open at its normal time of 3 p.m.

The Library Board of Trustees approved this schedule change at its July 27 meeting. Patrons are advised that book drops will be available as well as the library’s website. Normal operating hours will resume Friday, Aug. 31.
