FTC decision does not impact Carson Tahoe Cardiology

CARSON CITY — Carson Tahoe Cardiology (CTC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Carson Tahoe Health, was formed in November, 2010.  While not part of the recent Federal Trade Commission investigation, CTC has received several inquiries from patients regarding yesterday’s ruling by the Federal Trade Commission.

“Carson Tahoe Cardiology and our 10 cardiologists are not impacted by the recent Federal Trade Commission ruling against Renown Health.  We want the community to know that Carson Tahoe Cardiology remains intact. We are committed to the Carson Tahoe community and look forward to serving this region for many years to come,” said Dr. David Baker, President of Carson Tahoe Cardiology.
