Patrick Yung has been hired as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Hometown Health. As COO, Yung’s responsibilities will include overseeing the strategy, daily operations as well as working with Hometown Health’s leadership team on its business objectives. Yung will play an integral role in preparing Hometown Health for the changes associated with healthcare reform to position the plan and to expand its position as a market leader.
Yung joined Hometown Health after founding Kingdom Consultants, LLC, a company that provides advisory services to private equity and venture capital firms that invest in healthcare. He takes pride in a track record of strong leadership that emphasizes making those around him successful.
Yung brings deep healthcare and financial services experiences to the company. Earlier in his career, as chief marketing officer for ING, Yung grew the business and developed integrated retiree solutions.  He also was vice president of marketing and chief of staff for Connecticare, a health plan serving Connecticut and Massachusetts. Yung also advanced to leadership positions with UnitedHealth Group, Cigna and Deloitte & Touche.
He holds a master of business administration degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor of arts in business and economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
As a golfer and skier, Yung, along with his wife and three children, are certain to enjoy all that northern Nevada has to offer.
