Green college class at Rail City Garden Center to focus on fall veggie planting

Learn how you can grow and harvest vegetables even after the cooler weather sets in and discover how and what to plant in your garden now at a free Green College Class at Rail City Garden Center, 1720 Brierley Way in Sparks at 11 a.m. on Sat., Sept. 3.

Jedi Master Gardener Randy Robison will also teach you how to get a jump start on spring planting by planning now.

Seating for the class is limited and reservations are recommended. To reserve your seat in the Green College Class call 775-335-155.

While the class is free, a donation of a can of food for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada is strongly suggested.  A Food Bank collection barrel is conveniently located at Rail City Garden Center.
