Public Relations Society of America hosts Nevada’s political experts for panel discussion

The Sierra Nevada Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is hosting a panel of political analysts on Wed., July 27 as part of their monthly programming for PRSA and other community members.

The panel, which will be moderated by Assemblyman and social media guru, David Bobzien, will feature well-known faces like Jon Ralston of Face to Face with Jon Ralston and Anjeanette Damon of KRNV News 4, Las Vegas Sun and To the Point. The panel will open up a discussion with some of Nevada’s foremost political pundits as they as describe how social media has changed the way they report the news.

Elizabeth Crum of Nevada News Bureau, Sandra Chereb of the Associated Press and Ray Hagar of the Reno Gazette-Journal will also join the panel to discuss their outlook on the dramatic impact social media had on the historic 76th Session of the Nevada State Legislature.

“We are thrilled to have these experts share their thoughts with our members and the community,” said Annie McFarland, president of the board for the PRSA Sierra Nevada Chapter. “Social media has changed the way everyone does business, more specifically in marketing and public relations, and it will be interesting to hear the perspective of these experts.”

The panel will take place on Wed., July 27 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa. Cost for non-members is $30. Registration for this event is limited. To register, please visit www.prsareno.org.
