Washoe County Commissioners appointed Mark Crawford to the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) Board of Trustees today at their regular meeting. Mr. Crawford’s term will begin on July 1, 2011 and expire on July 1, 2015.
Mr. Crawford has been a private pilot for fifteen years. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Nevada Medical Center and is also a volunteer Board member of the Northern Nevada Chamber of Commerce. He holds an MBA from Golden Gate University and undergraduate degrees from Charter Oak State College and the Community College of the Air Force.
County Commissioners interviewed four candidates for the county-representative position on the RTAA, and noted the high quality of all four candidates. They thanked candidates Mark Crawford, James DeVolld, David Funk and Luther Mack, Jr. for their interest in further serving their community through this opportunity.
