Big Brothers Big Sisters Grand Chefs Gala to feature Northern Nevada’s top chefs


Who: Enthusiastic cooks and “foodies” will not want to miss this extraordinary and up-close experience with Reno-area top chefs, while supporting the communities at-risk youth through mentoring programs.

What: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada will hold their annual Grand Chefs Gala at The Atlantis Casino Spa Resort Paradise Ballroom, and will feature fourteen of Reno and Northern Nevada’s most exceptional chefs. Guests will receive an extraordinary up-close experience with their own chef who will be preparing a unique multi-course menu tableside, paired perfectly with premium wines. The fun for many guests will be the surprise, as guests won’t know who their chef is until they arrive (unless, for a premium price guests are able to select their chef!) This is an event that local “foodies” will not want to miss!

The evening events will feature:

  • Emcee: Brent Boynton and Jennifer Burton
  • Fourteen top chefs of the Truckee Meadows and featured wineries
  • Live Silent and Dessert Auction
  • Entertainment: Under the Radar

Info: All proceeds from the Grand Chefs Gala will benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters youth mentor program that in 2010 matched over 1,000 “Littles” with mentors in northern Nevada.
