ThisisReno’s primary news photographer, Ty O’Neil, has been selected for a prestigious seven-month photojournalism training in Warsaw, Poland.

“The VII Masterclass is the most ambitious and exhaustive training program available,” said training organizers. “Aimed at developing and consolidating new talent in documentary photography and photojournalism over the course of seven months, it is only offered every other year and takes place in three sessions of four days each.

“The course masters range from VII photographers to numerous other internationally renowned professionals from the photography industry.”

The training only selects 20 students from around the world every two years. A GoFundMe fundraising campaign has been launched to support training costs. Details: https://www.gofundme.com/get-ty-to-warsaw
