The Reno Police Department was contacted this week by detectives from the Springfield Police Department in Oregon, who believed a suspect in multiple sex-related crimes involving girls less than 10 years of age may be in Reno.
After providing Reno Police with their information, local police began to follow leads to locate the suspect.
Shortly after 12:30 pm on January 7, 2015, while conducting surveillance on a residence in the Grove Street area, police located and arrested Oregon resident Robert Edwin House (November 14, 1987).
He was arrested for three counts of sexual assault.
