Boys and Girls Nite Out Volunteer Opportunity – April 10
Volunteer for a fun night out with the Boys and Girls Club and then eat, drink and network with YPN’ers and Boys and Girls Club Board Members/community leaders. This event is sponsored by the Young Leaders Committee (YLC) of the Boys and Girls Club. The event is held on April 10 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Sign-up by emailing [email protected].
Power Lunch with Patti Meals, Executive Director, CARE Chest of Sierra Nevada – April 18
Join us on Thursday, April 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a luncheon featuring non-profit leader, Patti Meals. Patti Meals, Executive Director of CARE Chest has been with the agency since 1992. Patti is involved with various community organizations and is a 40+ year Nevadan. Under the Board’s direction, CARE Chest has grown from a staff of just two with one primary program to a staff of 11 with seven programs. She has overseen the tremendous growth of CARE Chest from 334 people served in 1992 to 9,276 in 2012.
