Sheriff’s Office identifies deceased male from Taurus Circle death investigation

washoe_county_sheriffs_office_log-8606743-3988110The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed with the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office that a formal identification and next of kin notification has been completed on the deceased male located inside a residence in the 200 block of Taurus Circle on Monday, Feb. 11.

The decedent has been formally identified as Randy Hale, a 57-year-old Reno resident.

Based on preliminary investigative details discovered at Hale’s residence, Sheriff’s detectives believe Hale succumbed to injuries consistent with a person falling.  This is an ongoing investigation pending the final Medical Examiner’s Office report.

At this time, detectives are not seeking a person of interest or a suspect in this death investigation.  However, fetectives are interested in speaking to anyone who had contact with Hale from Friday, Feb. 8, to Sunday, Feb. 10.
