As the holiday season approaches, family events and memories await at the Outlets at Legends. From a tree decorating competition to light northern Nevada’s tallest tree to a chance to win your mortgage payments for a year, Legends is making shopping the Outlets a family must.
Legends is pleased to be hosting the inaugural St. Jude Give Thanks Walk on Saturday, November 19 at 11am. Visit GiveThanksWalk.org for more information on their Holiday kick-off to their Season of Giving. Legends at Sparks Marina is Nevada’s only location as St. Jude adds our state to their annual tradition.
Celebration of the holidays continues at Legends with the 3rd annual Lighting of the Tallest Tree in Northern Nevada. A memorable way to begin the holiday season with the family; there will be Fireworks, the Grinch Christmas Show, Special Guests and Fun for the whole family. Festivities begin at 5pm on Saturday, November 19. Legends is also sponsoring a Toy Drive that night for the area’s less fortunate children. With each toy you donate, you will be entered in a drawing to see who can light northern Nevada’s Tallest Tree that night.
On Thanksgiving night, Legends will once again open with incredible sales at 10pm for Moonlight Magic and will once again be hosting the Home for the Holidays contest where one lucky person will win their mortgage payments for one year! Simply enter to win at Legends from 10pm Thanksgiving night until 1am Friday. The winner will be drawn at 3am and must be present to win. Best of all, get your holiday shopping done with the incredible deals shoppers will find throughout Outlets at Legends, where stores will be open from 10pm on Thanksgiving to 9pm Friday. Lights of Kindness is a partnership of local nonprofit ThinkKindness and the Outlets at Legends. Teaming up for the second year to celebrate the season and raise money for local charities, Lights of Kindness is a beautiful holiday forest of hand-decorated of Christmas trees, each decorated in honor of that sponsor’s favorite charity. Local businesses, schools and individuals sponsor one or several Christmas trees, decorating them for this charitable event in hopes of winning the most votes and thereby, additional money for their charity. With over 75 trees planned, families are invited come and admire the trees, voting on their favorites.  Trees will be up from November 24 until December 5th, with voting available on the weekends…just $1 per vote, and all goes to charity. If you can’t give much this holiday season, this is a way to spread the cheer and inspire your kids to do the same.
