BLM NEWS RELEASE
The Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Nevada State Office in Reno is changing the hours of operation for its Information Access Center (IAC) where people file and pay for claims, leases and other land related items, access land records and obtain other public land information. The IAC will open at 8 a.m. and close at 4 p.m.
The BLM is closing its P.O. Box in Reno. As of Oct. 1, all mail to the Nevada State Office should be addressed to the physical address at 1340 Financial Blvd., Reno, NV 89502.
The change of hours is being made to provide increased access and better service to IAC customers. The closure of the P.O. Box will reduce the daily trips employees make to the Post Office to pick up mail. The U.S. Post Office will continue to deliver mail directly to the Financial Street address.
