3-Minute Film Competition is coming up sooner than you know it and this Music+Film Workshop with KNPB is a perfect opportunity to get started! This useful workshop will go over music licensing, public domain music and where to find it, sound editing techniques, and music composition for film. It is a super rad and affordable chance to get real inside information. Plus you’ll get a list of local musicians/bands willing to make or give you music for your films, tips for 3-Minute Film Competition and a tour of KNPB! It’s February 5th, at KNPB (1670 N. Virginia Street by UNR) 12pm, and only $2!

Vile Love: A New Western Perversion

Check the stars on February 10th, cause there’s bound to be a major astrological/metaphysical event accompanying the opening Of Vile Love: A New Western Perversion. This rad exhibit will feature art from Austin Pratt, Jake Graves, and Jaron Coxson. The night will begin at 6PM at the HPHQ. It’s going to be awesome!

3rd Annual 3-Minute Film Competition – Call for Submissions!

Get ready, the 3-Minute Film Competition is back and is looking for submissions.  The rules?  1. Make a film that’s 3 minutes or LESS.  2. Keep it clean-ish and hate-free  3. Put it on a DVD and send or drop off to the HPHQ (30 Cheney Street, Reno, 89501) by 6pm on March 14th.  The prizes are KILLER this year, so get working friends!
