Lee Garlington (The West Wing, Longmire) to host actor’s workshop at Bishop Manogue

lee-garlington-200x300-4845029-6850971Looking to increase your acting chops? Actress Lee Garlington (One Hour Photo, The Hot Chick) will host a three hour workshop on February 14 at Bishop Manogue Catholic School.

The workshop is made possible by a grant from the E.L. Wiegand Foundation, in conjunction with Sierra School of Performing Arts and Bishop Manogue Catholic School and is open to all aspiring actors through the Reno/Sparks community.

The workshop will provide great opportunities for aspiring actors to get an insider look at the acting world. Garlington has an impressive resume, having starred in more than 60 films and appearing on more than half a dozen TV series, including the popular crime drams CSI and NCIS. She also conducts workshops in Los Angeles for the SAG-AFTRA Los Angeles Conservatory.

Participants should prepare a short monologue they can recite from memory and receive feedback on from Garlington.

Cost is $40, or $20 for students with ID from the Diocese of Reno Catholic schools: Bishop
