Haute Holidays – Baubles, Brunch & Bubbles
Saturday, November 16
11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Discover the secrets of looking and feeling glamorous all season long while sipping bubbly, enjoying brunch and previewing the season’s hautest holiday baubles and trends during a runway show. Cost is $35 per person. Reservations required, please call 775-853-7800. The event is in The Summit’s Stylist Lounge next to Legacy Nails across from DeVon’s.

Lights Up

6 to 8 p.m.
Renown Health invites you to kick off a joyous season with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Join us in the Holiday Plaza next to Vans and Tilly’s for local entertainment, Santa’s arrival, cocoa, giveaways, an enter-to-win prize package, music, tree-lighting magic and a grand fireworks show. Sponsored by Renown Children’s Hospital.

Day After Thanksgiving

The Summit is giving away $3,000 in Summit gift cards throughout the day! Shoppers can register to win one of SIX $500 gift cards at the following times and locations:
• 9 a.m. near Dillard’s Plaza (Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. Drawings will take place at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.)
• 11 a.m. near Century Theatres (Registration opens at 10:15 a.m. Drawings will take place at 11 a.m. and noon)
• 1 p.m. at the Holiday Plaza next to Vans and Tilly’s (Registration opens at 12:15 pm. Drawings will take place at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.)
Registration from one location carries over to the next. Must be present to win and at least 18 years old to register. Only one registration per person.

Small Business Saturday was created as a way to encourage shopping at locally owned businesses and boost the local community’s economy. It was conceived by American Express as a way to reinvest our money close to home and support the local business community that employs so many of our neighbors and gives each region its unique flavor. Shopping brick and mortar is just another way to shop local!

Huntsburger Elementary School Choir Performance
Thursday, December 5
12:30 p.m.
Elementary school children will perform holiday music in the Holiday Plaza between Vans and Tilly’s.

Holiday Harvest Farmers Market
Special Preview: Friday, December 6, 4 to 8 p.m.
Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Find seasonal favorites like locally grown pomegranates, persimmons and citrus, as well as handcrafted holiday decorations. Indulge in tasty treats such as pies, breads and sauces. Located between Gap and Yankee Candle.

Find Santa!

Galena High School Carolers Performance
Saturday, December 7
1 to 2 p.m.
Take in the sounds of the season as carolers stroll from store to store at The Summit.

Holiday Wine Walk
Sunday, December 8
2 to 5 p.m.
Have a little holiday cheer at L’uva Bella Wine Gallery’s Wine Walk at The Summit. Sip various premier labels while strolling and shopping. $20 per person. A portion of the proceeds will benefit a local nonprofit organization. Purchase tickets at L’uva Bella Wine Gallery.

Cookies and Cocoa with Santa
Thursday, December 12
4 to 7 p.m.
Renown Children’s Hospital invites children of all ages to enjoy sweet treats with Santa, plus face painting, holiday activities and festive stories. Proceeds benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Renown Health. $5 per child under 18. Ticket information available at thesummitonline.com. Event takes place in The Summit’s Stylist Lounge – suite 500 next to Legacy Nails and across from DeVon’s Jewelers.

Breakfast with Santa
Saturday, December 14
8 to 10 a.m.
Santa Claus is back to share a holiday breakfast with good boys and girls, and their parents too. After filling up on a delicious breakfast buffet, guests can take part in other seasonal festivities including music by the Galena High School Choir and photos with a personal visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Call 775-853-7800 for more information. $11 adults. $7 ages 12 and under.

Horse-drawn Trolley
Saturday, November 23, 8 to 9 p.m.
Friday, November 29, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday, December 8, 2 to 8 p.m.
Holiday shopping can be tiring at times. Shoppers at The Summit can enjoy a special horse-drawn trolley ride while shopping the day away! Trolley rides offered throughout the center on select days. Cost is $2 per person. Proceeds from the trolley rides benefit Renown Children’s Hospital.
