Wet weather is on the way, so it’s time to get ready for skiing. Sky Tavern’s Ski Swap is a great place to find affordable skis, boards, boots, and snow apparel.
Santa will be at the Ski Swap on Friday night, so bring the kids down for photos. There will also be food trucks, a bounce house and games to keep kids busy while you shop.
With the holidays around the corner, the Swap is a great place to stock up Christmas gifts. Plus, you don’t have to be a skier to enjoy the Ski Swap, as there will be winter apparel and boots for anyone wanting to enjoy the season.
The Swap will be held Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23 at the old Sports Authority by Sam’s Club at 4813 Kietzke Lane in Reno.
If you have items you want to sell, bring them to the old Sports Authority on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday from noon to 5 p.m.
The Swap opens to the public for selling on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Proceeds from the Ski Swap support the Jr. Ski Program, which is celebrating its 71st anniversary this year.
