Fall into Art and Support TDMA & Truckee Tahoe School of Music TDMA
Art & Soul blends visual art, live music, artist demonstrations, craft beer, wine tastings, small bites and more in Historic Downtown Truckee. On Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., the Truckee Downtown Merchants Association (TDMA) will present the 5th annual Art & Soul Downtown Truckee Art Walk.
“The art community and music scene is what makes up Truckee’s unique culture,” said Cassie Hebel, Executive Director for the TDMA. “We are thrilled to give back to Truckee Tahoe School of Music again because they encourage those who are new to music as well as those who are experienced to practice their craft.”
With Art & Soul’s Artwalk being a signature event, Truckee’s California Cultural District will collaborate for the first time with Truckee’s over-arching “Fall Into Art” during September and October.
“We love supporting Downtown Truckee’s art and music scene with locals and visitors alike,” said Hebel.
Art & Soul will take over downtown Truckee’s sidewalks and plazas with sculptures, live music and artist demonstrations. Stroll through Art & Soul’s 30 stops celebrating Truckee’s artist community, all while giving back to Truckee Tahoe School of Music.
“We are celebrating again with our entire local artisan community including Truckee’s amazing photographers, painters, jewelry designers, musicians, craft brewers and culinary artists,” Hebel.
Tickets for Art & Soul are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. $20 Food only tickets. Group tickets are also available (4 tickets for $120). Advance tickets can be purchased at www.historictruckee.com or locally at Cooking Gallery.
