When a group of longtime high school friends reconnected for their 20-year reunion, serious planning went into action for the perfect celebration. Silver State 98’s artwork was created to not only fund a party to end all parties, but to showcase Matthew Lew’s love for the Silver State that he calls home and give back to local art-focused programs in Nevada.
Silver State 98 celebrates the class of ’98 Reno High School Reunion Saturday, July 14 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Whitney Peak Hotel.
With the reunion just around the corner, Lew’s art prints have gained wild popularity. See some of the art pieces on display at the reunion. Lew has sold out on various prints more times than he can count and has decided to make Silver State 98 a fully functioning business.
“This journey has solidified my love for being Nevadan,” said Lew. “After the reunion is done, look out Nevada!”
