PHOTOS: Mural Marathon Contest Winners Announced

The Circus Circus 24-hour mural marathon concluded yesterday with the announcement of the top three muralists whose work will be on display for a year at the casino on Virginia Street.

Seven muralists had 24 hours to paint their original pieces on the exterior of the casino, works that will be on display until next year’s event.

Sebastion Coolidge got the first place prize of $3,000, Emily Ding came in second for $2,000, and Nathaniel Benjamin won $1,000 for third place.

The event is part of the annual Reno Art Fest. Check out a gallery of all of the murals.
