RENO, NV – Wild Garlic Pizza & Pub invites art and food lovers to its newest location to enjoy a unique pizza and art event, dubbed Pizzart, benefiting in part the Northern Nevada R.A.V.E. Family Foundation (RAVE), Thursday, January 19, between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Attendees of Pizzart will enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres including Wild Garlic’s famed pizza bites and garlic knots, plus one adult beverages per person for $10. Most importantly, guests will have the opportunity to view an art exhibit hosted by Wild Garlic featuring work by local employees of Wild Garlic and Blind Onion such as: Ryan Young, Billy Brooks, Reed Dietrick, Eva Wilson, and Hernan Borrero.
“Making pizza is an art, so having employee artists help nurture the feeling and atmosphere of our restaurants,” said Dean Christopher, owner.
A portion of this quarter’s Pizzart event will benefit RAVE: providing respite for families caring for children with special needs while training high school volunteers to work with these very special children.
“We love helping children in need, supporting parents of children with special needs helps strengthen our community,” said Christopher.
“The Northern Nevada RAVE Family Foundation (NNRFF) is excited to once again be partnering with the Wild Garlic for the upcoming Pizzart Art Exhibit! The NNRFF is a nonprofit organization that provides a much-needed break to families caring for young and adult children with disabilities, special health care needs, and children in foster care, “ said Korine Viehweg, Executive Director. “See you at Pizzart on January 19th!”
Featured artists change quarterly for each season’s Pizzart event, with dates to be released at a later time.
