The 4th Annual Arch Rivals Superhero Run is coming this Saturday, June 11th, in downtown Reno, with tons of new changes. The event, featuring costumed runners, beer and a whole lot of laughter is scheduled to start at City Plaza next to the newly remodeled Virginia Street Bridge at 6pm with an after party across the street at Shelter Bowl/Bar/Grill.
This year the event has moved to the evening to take advantage of cool weather while enjoying a jog along the Truckee River and back to the plaza. Finishers 21 years and older will receive a cold Deschutes beer and a hilarious after party filled with costume contests, photo booths and prizes hosted by Crawl Reno, the organizers of the Reno Zombie Crawl.
Anyone wanting to participate can register at City Plaza from 4:00 to 5:00 pm on race day or on Friday night at Shelter from 5:00-8:00pm. A portion of the proceeds will go toward Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful, a local organization focused on keeping the Reno area preserved and clean all year.
