Four of the Nevada Arts Council fellows will share their craft and experiences Monday, April 4 at the Sierra Arts Gallery in Reno. For more than 20 years, talented creators, such as these four,  have been recognized by the Nevada Arts Council and have been awarded an annual artist fellowship grant of up to $5,000 each.

The council’s fellows who work in acting, directing, prose and poetry will gather to perform and share information on their own experience.

Artist Fellowship Grant Program. Cameron Crain, actor and director; Cindie Geddes, prose and fiction writer; and Steven Gehrke and Laura Wetherington, poets, are the featured artists for the presentation.

Fran Morrow, NAC artist services program coordinator, will also  provide participants information on local arts resources and share how professional literary and performing artists in all stages of their careers can now apply for the grants.

The free event is designed to welcome the public and is set for 6:30 to 8 p.m. at 17 S. Virginia St., Suite 120.

For details, contact the council at 775-687-6680 or email [email protected].
