In order to encourage patients to get annual flu vaccines and regular screenings, Saint Mary’s Medical Group is launching a community campaign called Flu and Fit.
Several clinics will be offered throughout Reno beginning in mid-September and running until early November.
“Flu and Fit is a new annual campaign focused on educating patients about the importance of annual screenings and well checks,” said Lori Martin, Saint Mary’s Medical Group executive director of clinical operations. “Diseases and other conditions can be quickly caught in the earliest stages and managed appropriately if you are screened.
“It’s important that as a community health provider we offer options that are accessible and develop a system that is easy for patients to remember year-to-year.”
