The Idlewild Park train will roll again Saturday, March 28, 2015 to coincide with the Washoe County School District’s two-week spring break.
The train will operate from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, weather permitting, beginning March 28 through Sunday, April 12. Families can enjoy a ride that highlights the most scenic parts of the park.
After April 12, the train will operate on Saturdays and Sundays until Memorial Day weekend when normal summer hours will begin. The train is also scheduled to run on Friday evenings during the Reno Street Food events at Idlewild Park.
The cost to ride is $2 per person. Children age 2 and younger can ride for free on the lap of a parent or guardian. Tickets may be purchased on site (cash only).
