In August 2015, northern Nevada will welcome the region’s largest indoor shooting range and training facility. Existing businesses U.S. Firearms Academy and MiScenarios will merge to create Reno Guns and Range, a 24,226-square-foot destination for indoor live fire, scenario-based training, firearm sales, service and more.
Owner Debbie Block has just taken ownership of the Reno property, and the transformation into the new full-service facility will begin in early April. Once complete, Reno Guns and Range will offer 20 live-fire lanes at 25-yards with extra attention to sound reduction and lead management, plus a 2,200-square-foot room for force-on-force training. A separate 1,600-square-foot special events room with private access to four of the lanes will be available for parties, group or team building events.
Gun rentals, gunsmithing and dedicated rooms for scenario-based training and classes, as well as a 4,500-square-foot retail area with an extensive array of firearms and accessories will round out the environment. Reno Guns and Range will also offer memberships, leagues, Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) certification and non-lethal training for people of any skill level by certified professionals.
“We’re happy to be providing a safe, educational and inviting new indoor space in an easily accessible location. We’re here for the firearm enthusiasts, law enforcement, military and those interested in learning about the shooting sport and self-defense,” said Block.
Reno Guns and Range will be located at 2325 Market Street in Reno, just off of Highway 395, next to Chester’s Reno Harley Davidson. For more information visit RenoGuns.com or call 775-826-2626.
