Carson Valley Inn to host Food Truck Festival

Gourmet food, tasty desserts, cold beer, shaded eating areas, live entertainment and drawings for up to $5,000 are all on the menu at the Carson Valley Inn Food Truck Festival Saturday, May 31. The event takes place from noon to 8 p.m. in and adjacent to TJ’s Corral, the new Outdoor Events Center at the Carson Valley Inn.cvi-9977505-3776280

A variety of food trucks will be serving up everything from gourmet specialties to all-American standards plus desserts and other treats. Among the scheduled participants are Battle Born, Brothers BBQ, Hot Dog Rod, Island Ice, Los Caporales, Shanghai Express, Shalala Ice Cream Truck, St. Lawrence Pizza, Nevada Nosh Food Truck and more plus Goodi’s Fresh Squeezed Lemonade! Plenty of cold beer and soft drinks will also be available at the outdoor bars. Large tents and tables will provide shaded eating areas.

Live entertainment with The Blues Monsters runs 1 – 3 p.m. and 5 – 7 p.m. Drawing tickets will be distributed randomly during the event and drawings will be held inside the casino at 3, 5, 7 and 9 p.m. for a chance to win up to $5,000 in cash.
