A woman who died after being hit by a hit-and-run driver on Mae Anne Avenue March 27 has been identified as Dianne Lane.
The Reno Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team, which has been investigating this incident, has learned that Lane was crossing Mae Anne Avenue between Coit Plaza and Sierra Highlands Drive. She was not in a marked crosswalk, which is believed to be a contributing factor to the accident.
Lane was struck by a dark pickup truck that was last seen driving northbound on Sierra Highlands Drive.
