Come in from the cold – live music at Bartley Ranch

The Mountain Girls perform January 18 as part of “Come in from the Cold” series at the Bartley Ranch.

WASHOE COUNTY REGIONAL PARKS NEWS RELEASE – Washoe County Regional Parks presents the Slide Mountain Band Saturday, January 11 at Bartley Ranch as part of the 18th season of the popular “Come in from the Cold” winter entertainment series.

Every Saturday night through March 8, 2014, performers from a wide variety of musical genres, including the Mountain Girls, Contraband and the Reno Youth Jazz Orchestra will play in the Western Heritage Interpretive Center at Bartley Ranch.

Capacity is limited to 200 persons and doors open at 5:00 p.m. The Come in from the Cold series is made available thanks to generous support from the performers, sponsors and audiences. A $3 per person donation is encouraged to help support this and future park programs.

The series schedule includes: January 11, Slide Mountain Band; January 18, Mountain Girls; January 25, The Red Tango; February 1, Contraband; February 8, Reno Youth Jazz Combo; February 15, Gabardine Sisters Radio Show; February 22, Richard Elloyan; March 1, Blarney Band; and, on March 8, the Reno Youth Jazz Orchestra.

The “Come in from the Cold” family entertainment series is 7:00 p.m. every Saturday through March 8, 2014 at the Bartley Ranch Regional Park’s Western Heritage Interpretive Center, 6000 Bartley Ranch Road, in Reno.
