Detectives make arrest for sexual assault, lewdness with a child under 14

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division arrested Thomas Herndon, age 30, of Sun Valley yesterday on six counts of sexual assault against a child under 14 and five counts of lewdness with a child under 14.

These assaults involved two female victims, both known to the suspect, and occurred over a period of several years at undisclosed residences in Sun Valley and south Reno.
