RENO, Nev. — Tyler Wells lasted 7 1/3 strong innings, a career high, to lead the University of Nevada baseball team to a 6-1 victory over Air Force on Saturday.
The Wolf Pack (13-6, 2-0) earned its fourth straight win after the victory over the Falcons (5-12, 0-2). After giving up a run in the first, Wells (4-0) found a groove as he struck out five while walking two in his career-high fourth victory of the season.
