The winner will be announced from among five student entrepreneurial teams that were selected as finalists last December in the University of Nevada, Reno’s Sontag Entrepreneurship Competition. Now in its second year, the competition was named for Rick Sontag, the alumnus whose generous gift created the opportunity for students to demonstrate their ability to start or expand a business. An additional gift from the Monroe-Shuler Foundation will provide a second-place prize of $5,000.
