Reno Police ask public’s help in identifying AM/PM robbery suspect

RPD NEWS RELEASE

On Tuesday, March 6, at 11:47 p.m. Reno Police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the AM/PM at 6190 South Virginia St.  Upon arrival they learned that the business had just been robbed by a lone suspect. The suspect entered the store and pointed a dark colored handgun at the clerk.  He stole an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled north from the business.

The suspect was wearing a mask at the time of the robbery as well as sunglasses.  Officers are still investigating if there was any link to the robbery that occurred at the same location on March 5.

The suspect is described as a male, 5’08-5’10” tall, thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white liner, blue jeans, and black and white shoes.

The Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.  Anyone having information relating to this crime or the suspect should contact the Reno Police Department at 334-2115, Secret Witness at 322-4900 or www.secretwitness.com, or text the tip to 847411 (TIP 411) keyword – SW.
