RPD NEWS — A 41 year old male was walking across 4th Street approximately 10’ west of the Ralston Street crosswalk. The 40 year old driver was traveling W/B on 4th Street and entered the intersection with a green light. The vehicle struck the pedestrian just as the man crossed into the west-bound lanes. The pedestrian had been drinking and was transported to RENOWN Medical Center where he is being treated for non life threatening injuries.
The pedestrian was cited for Jaywalking. The driver was cited for no Driver’s license.
The investigation is ongoing.
