RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada women’s basketball team (7-20, 2-12 MW) will play its final road regular season game at New Mexico (14-13, 6-8 MW) on Wednesday. Tip-off is 6 p.m., at The Pit.
The series between the two programs is tied at 1-1. The Lobos defeated the Wolf Pack 69-66 in Reno on Feb. 2. Amber Smith led Nevada with 13 points in the loss. Arielle Wideman finished the game with 12 points and eight assists. Wednesday’s game marks the first time Nevada will face New Mexico in Albuquerque. The Lobos are ranked No. 9 in the country for women’s basketball attendance. Senior guard Caroline Durbin leads New Mexico with 12.1 ppg.
